Introduction:
With a light and conversational approach to guiding, I have a passion for making history, the arts and culture interesting and accessible to everyone. I began my guiding career in the cellars of Champagne Mumm and went on to juggle studies in French & Politics with work as a tour manager, accompanying American students across Europe. I worked for the London Tourist Board and in the US selling educational tours before taking up a career in marketing and communications in healthcare and in the charity sector.
I offer London highlights tours, walking tours and visits to London's main sites, as well as the city's backstreets and hidden gems. I often work with families and have created tour materials, games and quizzes designed to keep young magpie minds entertained and on the move. I also deliver themed walks and tours of London's galleries and museums that appeal to corporate clients. See my website citytreasures.london for more details.
I have a strong personal interest in gardening and garden history and love leading tours of gardens both in and outside of London. When I am not guiding, you'll find me enjoying theatre, music, gardening and walking.
