Professional knowledge: Kevin's expertise stretches from history (Masters degree in London History), to art & literature (he has lectured for the James Joyce Society in Dublin ), music (lectured on the 'Swinging 60s' for the National Portrait Gallery; producer of the official soundtrack to Ulysses), and football (he has worked within the professional game; member of the Football Writers' Association). Kevin also writes on these subjects as a accredited journalist.
Professional qualifications: Apart from the Blue Badge, Kevin is qualified as a City of London Guide allowing him exclusive access to places of interest in the heart of the capital, and a Westminster Guide, with a focus on the West End. He is also an accredited Canterbury Cathedral Guide. In addition, he is an accredited examiner for the Institute of Tour Guides.
Kevin is a fully-licensed driver-guide offering private tours for up to 7 people in and from London and has the very latest top-spec vehicle available to conduct these tours. He is also registered to conduct coach & walking tours. Kevin holds a London taxi licence and also holds the WCHCD guide badge. A Freeman of the City of London, Kevin is the ONLY London guide to hold all these relevant qualifications.
